Yarn Quality Engineer

Having a capacity of 330.000 tons per year, Aksa supplies raw materials for textiles and technical textiles in many diverse areas.

We are looking for a Yarn Quality Engineer to join our Aksafil Yarn factory.

Qualities We Are Looking For;

• Preferably a Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering
• Preferably at least 3 years of experience in yarn manufacturing facilities or yarn quality laboratories.
• Knowledge of short-staple ring and vortex spinning processes.
• Good command of English.
• Experience in quality control processes, laboratory testing, and quality management systems, with hands-on experience in uster quality testing equipment.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• A proactive team player with effective communication skills.

Your main tasks are;

• Prepare the daily work plan for the yarn quality laboratory and ensure the efficient execution of laboratory operations.
• Coordinate the laboratory team's daily activities and monitor sample preparation and analysis processes.
• Evaluate analyses of production samples, monitor quality results, and carry out the necessary improvement activities.
• Monitor daily production and quality performance, analyze second-quality rates, and prepare related reports.
• Evaluate customer complaints from a technical perspective, conduct root cause analyses, and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
• Provide technical support by integrating customer feedback into product and process improvement activities.
• Ensure that quality plans, work instructions, and quality management system practices are up to date and effectively implemented.
• Collaborate closely with production and other relevant departments to contribute to the continuous improvement of processes.
