AKSA is operating in manufacturing, technology development, marketing, and distribution fields in power generation and energy systems. Selling to 173 countries, the range of the company includes diesel generators, portable generators, marine generators, natural gas generators, control panels, soundproofed canopies, and lighting towers. The production zones are located in Turkey, China (the world’s largest power generator plant), the USA, and a trade and assembly center in the Netherlands to serve our European clients.

ABOUT THE POSITION

AKSA Power Generation is looking for a Cost Accounting Specialist who has strong experience in that process for our Kavacik HQ office or Cerkezkoy Production Factory.

WHAT WILL WE EXPECT FROM YOU (Qualification)

• The role can work at Istanbul Beykoz or Tekirdag Cerkezkoy. The working place will depend on the candidate's residence location.
• Having a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or related faculties.
• Minimum 2 years experience in the Cost Accounting process.
• Be able to use MS Office programs, especially Excel, at an advanced level.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical approach and team player,
• Ability to work up, down, across an organization, process-oriented,
• Excellent communication skills and high-level reporting skills
• No military obligation for male candidates.

WHAT WILL YOU DO (Job Description)

• Analyzing the cost structures of Aksa Power Generation's domestic and international workplace companies and offices and production plants,
• Timely and accurate reporting of cost analyses by following product recipes and production costs,
• Making monthly, quarterly, and annual cost analyses on product basis,
• Performing SAP CO monthly closings and analysis of post-closing difference accounts,
• Making product cost and profitability analyses,
• Working with Production, Production Planning, and Engineering departments to work on the control and improvement of systemic and physical processes,
• Supporting the creation of plans and budgets for the future,
• Preparing and presenting reports on costs to managers,
• Supporting and representing the manager to whom direct reporting is made in these works and processes,
• Making standard/actual cost comparisons
• Determination and follow-up of items that should be kept in safety stock at the point of cost/consumption analysis
• To support other teams in the preparation of the lists uploaded in VAT refund processes.
• To make necessary analyzes and revisions in cost distributions in cost systems by making visits to domestic and international branches, mainly to the Çerkezköy Factory.
