Design Engineer (Concepteur)

We are looking for a skilled and motivatedDesign Engineer to join our innovative engineering team working in automotive industry. In this role, you will take part from one or more of the product ranges of interior/exterior trims, plastic and metal parts, platform systems, chasis, brakes, climbox, piping systems—from concept to serial production—ensuring seamless integration of electronic systems. 

Qualifications for Success  

• Solid experience in plastic, metal and platform systems design. 
• Strong knowledge of CATIA and Creo Parametric CAD tools. 
• Knowledge of NPDM systems. 
• Experience with 3D & 2D models and documentation. 
• Familiarity with RTC Check and IMDS tracking & approval processes. 
• Ability to manage supplier requests changes and derogations. 
• Sound understanding of automotive standards, testing procedures, and safety regulations. 
• Experience with product development processes and vehicle architectures. 
• Good level of written and spoken English. 

Roles and Responsibilities 

• Detail design of components with a focus on functionality and installation. 
• Develop and maintain design documentation throughout the project lifecycle. 
• Simulate shapes, dimensions, and tolerances based on design drafts using CAD tools (CATIA, Creo Parametric) 
• Define architecture in line with technical requirements. 
• Perform key technical calculations such as weights, lengths, , and material efficiency. 
• Specify and select components and semi-finished products based on specifications and technical documentation. 
• Create, modify, and analyze 3D conduct packaging analysis. 
• Ensure adherence to release cycles and maintain proper change documentation. 
• Work with CATIA models with the specification input for marketing / technic departments. 
• Checking 2D plannings and performing their control with ZNC Team. 
• Responsible of receiving, checking and approving IMDS entities.
