R&D ENGINEER

Shape the Next Generation of Anti-Vibration and Sealing Solutions

At Angst+Pfister Turkey, we develop innovative anti-vibration, sealing and rubber-to-metal solutions for global automotive, railway and industrial applications. As an R&D Engineer, you will contribute to the complete development process, from concept generation and material selection to simulation, testing, validation and industrialization, while working closely with international customers and multidisciplinary engineering teams.

General Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or Metallurgical and Materials Engineering
• MSc or PhD is considered an advantage
• Experience or strong interest in mechanical design and product development
• Knowledge of CAD software (CATIA V5 preferred)
• Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis and CAE tools (Abaqus, MSC Marc preferred)
• Knowledge of rubber materials and elastomeric components is an asset
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory
• German language skills are considered an advantage
• No restrictions for international travel
• Adaptable, proactive and eager to learn
• Comfortable working in an international and multicultural environment

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop innovative sealing, anti-vibration and rubber-to-metal solutions for automotive, railway and industrial applications.
• Create and optimize 3D CAD models and technical drawings.
• Build, run and evaluate finite element simulations to support product development decisions.
• Correlate simulation results with laboratory and field test data.
• Participate in product validation activities and analyze test results.
• Conduct root-cause analyses and propose robust engineering solutions.
• Lead or contribute to D-FMEA and engineering risk assessment activities.
• Collaborate closely with customers, suppliers, project managers, test engineers and manufacturing teams throughout the product development process.
• Support innovation projects and continuously improve existing products and development methodologies.
• Monitor technological developments, scientific publications and industry trends related to NVH, durability, sealing and elastomer technologies.
• Represent Angst+Pfister Turkey in technical meetings with international customers.
