�? Profile Overview

Austriacard is seeking a professional with fluent French and English communication skills, capable of confidently engaging with government institutions, banks, and financial authorities.

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in EMV, smart card technologies, payment systems, and ID & Government (ID&Gov) projects.

?? Key Responsibilities

• Lead business development and sales activities in the MEA (Middle East and Africa) region, with a focus on French-speaking countries
• Develop and implement sales plans targeting banks, payment institutions, and government bodies (ID & Gov)
• Identify new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing clients and partners
• Represent Austriacard in front of local authorities for product certification, approvals, and positioning of smart card solutions
• Maintain a strong sales pipeline and drive growth in EMV, payment cards, and secure ID solutions
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of technical offerings with customer needs and regulatory requirements
• Initiate, develop, and manage end-to-end projects by aligning client requirements with internal technical teams to ensure seamless delivery of tailored smart card and secure ID solutions

?? Qualifications & Experience

• Fluency in French, Arabic and English, with excellent communication skills
• Proven sales experience in smart cards, EMV, payment systems, banking, or ID/government-related projects
• Ability to engage effectively with both C-level executives and operational teams in financial and public sector organizations
• Familiarity with regional procurement processes, certification schemes, and local payment ecosystems

• Achieve annual sales targets for smart card production, payment products, and ID solutions in the MEA region
• Maintain compliance with OPEX budgets while focusing on profitability and sustainable growth
• Provide strategic input and commercial support for complex customer projects
• Build and maintain a strong network of partners, integrators, and government contacts
• Monitor market trends and competitive activities to effectively position Austriacard’s offerings

?? Additional Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA is a plus)
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in business development within the MEA region
• Knowledge of secure printing and card systems
• Proficiency in French, Arabic, English,
• Willingness to travel frequently within the MEA region
