We are looking for a Test Laboratory Engineer to join and enrich our growing engineering team.

General Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering
• Open to fresh graduates with a strong motivation to learn, or preferably having up to 2 years of experience in transformer testing, high-voltage testing, or electrical test laboratories.
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Proficient in MS Office tools
• Knowledge of electrical testing methods, measurement techniques, and high-voltage test systems
• Familiarity with IEC and IEEE standards related to transformer testing
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and technical reporting skills
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
• Strong planning, coordination, and decision-making abilities
• Awareness of occupational health and safety requirements, particularly in high-voltage testing environments
• Willingness to work in Balıkesir

Job Description

• Review customer specifications, contracts, technical documents, and applicable standards to determine the testing requirements of transformers
• Plan, coordinate, and perform routine, type, and special tests on transformers in accordance with customer requirements and applicable international standards
• Conduct and evaluate electrical measurements and perform high voltage tests required
• Prepare test procedures, test plans, technical reports, and related documentation, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and traceability of test results in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025 standard.
• Analyze test results, identify deviations or nonconformities, and collaborate with relevant departments to determine root causes and implement corrective actions
• Ensure that all testing activities comply with IEC, IEEE, customer specifications, and internal quality requirements
• Coordinate testing activities with production, design, quality, and other relevant departments to support production schedules and delivery targets
• Provide technical support during customer-witnessed tests and Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), ensuring effective communication with customers and inspectors
• Monitor the proper operation, maintenance, and calibration of laboratory testing equipment and measurement instruments
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety procedures during all testing activities, particularly in high-voltage testing areas
• Evaluate testing processes and measurement methods to identify opportunities for improving efficiency, reliability, and accuracy
• Review production and test feedback and contribute to continuous improvement activities related to transformer design, manufacturing, and testing processes
• Stay up to date with technological developments and national and international standards related to transformer testing to ensure compliance and best engineering practices.
