Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Specialist to join our Finance team in Uşak. Reporting directly to the Accounting Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting the company's day-to-day accounting operations, month-end closing activities, and financial reporting in accordance with IFRS and local statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Audit, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Support the month-end and year-end closing process.
• Prepare month-end accounting entries, accruals, provisions, and valuation entries.
• Perform foreign currency, receivable, payable, and other month-end valuation processes in accordance with IFRS and local accounting requirements.
• Review and control payroll accounting entries and ensure their accuracy before posting to the general ledger.
• Perform account reconciliations and resolve outstanding reconciling items.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and supporting documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of IFRS financial reporting packages and statutory financial statements.
• Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation and explanations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and applicable legislation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of accounting processes and internal controls.
• Perform other accounting duties assigned by the Accounting Supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Audit, or a related field.
• Proven hands-on experience in general accounting (required).
• Good knowledge of IFRS and Turkish statutory accounting.
• Experience in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Experience working in international companies (preferred),
• CPA certification and/or audit experience (preferred),
• Good command of English (preferred).
