We are currently seeking a talented and visionary Chef de Pâtisserie to lead our pastry kitchen and elevate the dessert experience of our venue through creativity, precision, and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
· Design, develop, and execute sophisticated dessert menus aligned with the restaurant’s culinary identity
· Lead all pastry and dessert production operations with consistency and excellence
· Create visually striking plated desserts with a strong focus on flavor balance and presentation
· Manage mise en place, production schedules, and service flow efficiently
· Maintain the highest standards of hygiene, sanitation, and food safety (HACCP compliance)
· Monitor food costs, portion control, waste management, and ingredient optimization
· Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and culinary team for menu integration and seasonal offerings
· Oversee inventory management, supplier coordination, and stock control
· Train, mentor, and supervise pastry team members while fostering a high-performance kitchen culture
· Stay informed on international pastry trends, techniques, and innovations
Qualifications
· Minimum 3–5 years of experience in pastry leadership roles within luxury restaurants, premium hospitality venues, or 5-star hotels
· Strong expertise in modern pastry techniques, baking, chocolate work, and plated dessert presentation
· Proven experience in menu development and cost control
· Passion for gastronomy, creativity, and dessert innovation
· Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
· Strong organizational, leadership, and time-management skills
· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-standard kitchen environment
· Flexible and adaptable to shift-based operations
· A team-oriented mindset with strong communication abilities
