IT Executive

We are looking for an IT Executive to support our Information Technology operations, maintain our IT infrastructure and contribute to our digital transformation initiatives.

The successful candidate will take an active role in ensuring the secure and reliable operation of our shore-based and vessel IT systems, and will support the integration of Artificial Intelligence, automation and emerging technologies into our business processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems or a related field,
• Experience in IT infrastructure, systems administration or technical support,
• Working knowledge of servers, LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, remote access, virtualization and backup systems,
• Hands-on knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments,
• Familiarity with ERP and business applications and their day-to-day support,
• Interest or basic project experience in AI, RPA, workflow automation, APIs and system integrations,
• Good understanding of cybersecurity, data protection and access management principles,
• Ability to work within project timelines and coordinate with external service providers,
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills and a team-oriented approach,
• Good command of written and spoken English,
• Experience in the maritime industry and/or vessel IT systems is considered an advantage,
• For male candidates, military service should be completed or postponed.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day operation and maintenance of IT infrastructure, servers, networks, VPN, remote access and end-user systems across the head office and fleet,
• Apply and monitor information security, firewall, access control, backup and cybersecurity procedures,
• Provide first- and second-level technical support to head office and vessel users, and follow up requests through to resolution,
• Support ERP and other business applications, including testing, user support and integration tasks,
• Liaise with third-party software, technology and service providers on day-to-day technical matters,
• Contribute to AI, RPA and automation initiatives by supporting analysis, testing and implementation activities,
• Take part in digitalization projects including AI-supported document/invoice processing, data integration and workflow automation,
• Support the reliability of vessel IT infrastructure, ship-to-shore connectivity, remote access and communication systems,
• Support secure data exchange and integration between vessel and shore-based systems,
• Maintain IT inventory, licence and asset records, and assist in the follow-up of purchasing and vendor processes.
