Materials and Special Processes Engineer

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science/Metallurgical/ Materials Engineering departments. Higher degree is a plus.

• Good knowledge in metallic materials and plastics.

• Min 2 years of experience in the manufacturing sector, automotive is a plus.

• Interested in Fuel Injection Systems technology.

• Good knowledge in production techniques (steel manufacturing, forging, heat treatment, welding etc.) and failure analysis.

• Hands-on experience on a laboratory with analysis and expertise tools (stereo microscope, optical microscope, hardness measurement etc.), SEM & FTIR experience is a plus.

• Good interpretation skill of technical drawing, knowledge of GD&T is a plus.

• Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001 fundamentals.

• Willing to learn and ability for research and development.

• High level of interpersonal and team skills.

• Good Communication skills.

• Fluency in English is a must.

• The ability to work with remote project teams.

• Good knowledge in MS Office Tools.

• Military service must be completed or be deferred at least 2 years for male candidates.

İŞ TANIMI

• Plans the analysis and expertise activities related based on weekly work requests and keep updated.

• Realizes the analysis and expertise works as planned and makes sure the results are reported correctly.

• Realizes failure analysis and reporting  the root causes to the related work request owners.

• Performs contamination analysis: able to produce data for metals analyses but needs help interpreting the results with respect to material identification.

• Plans the maintenance and verification activates of analysis and expertise tools and makes sure the realisation of plans.

• Supports the product engineering department in material selection, development and improvement.

• Technically Supports the related departments globally in material engineering scope, if required.

• Responsible for training planning and training the materials laboratory staff.

• Responsible for developing new method or improvement of the existing one according to the requested analysis or expertise requirements.

• Responsible for organisation and communication with universities and the institutes regarding to the analysis or test purposes.

• Participate and contribute to the FMEA activities.

• Documenting processes and tasks.
