RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Ensures that the processes and results related to the unit are in line with the plans in terms of cost, quality, timelines, and expectations.
• Collaborates across all functions within Technology to improve customer satisfaction, team work and efficiency
• Works and liaises with the local and regional  groups to determine and meet the needs for business requirements and demands related to Technology Projects
• Demonstrates behavioral and technical skills to increase effectiveness of the Technology group.
• Provides technical expertise and knowledge required for processes, projects, and operations.
• Ensures that technology processes, standards, procedures and policies comply with the corporate policies and standards.
• Reinforces ethical rules with the unit.
• Anticipates new situations, technologies, assesses change demands and take action to enhance the local and regional systems performance.
• Ensures the completion of all the tasks as an application manager including necessary inventory management/validation
• Understand and articulate the relationship between business requirement and possible solution
• Perform designated change management and vulnerability assessment activities
• Taking proactive approach to problems and suggesting solutions. Investigate new technologies and opportunities for new projects to provide more effective service to customers, improve service quality and provide cost saving to the businesses.

 QUALIFICATIONS

• University degree
• Fluency in English.
• Strong, reliable, confident communication skills are expected along with proven software development,  project management and leadership skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to develop strong working relationships with staff, vendors, local and regional teams.
• Excellent organizational and decision making skills to manage the workload in a timely and efficient manner. Ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects with changing priorities
• Analytical thinking, problem solving, ability to produce high quality output and manage resources for effective support of the teams.
• Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to learn quickly.
• Experience in the Financial IT industry
• Self-starter with ability to take the initiative.
• Excellent documentation & report writing skills.
• Strong attention to detail and focus on task completion.
• Positive "can do" approach, coupled with initiative and enthusiasm.
