we are looking for a teammate with the following qualifications to work as Accountant Chief for our company that provides logistics services in Istanbul/Şişli.

General Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
• Proven experience as an Accounting Supervisor or similar role in Logistic sector
• Excellent knowledge of accounting and financial processes
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• English level B1 and higher and / or Italian level B1 and higher

Job Description:

• Oversee and manage the accounting team, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported
• Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and internal controls
• Prepare financial statements and reports for senior management and external stakeholders
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
• Coordinate and collaborate with auditors, tax advisors, and other financial professionals
• Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting to support the financial health of the organization
• Stay updated on accounting standards and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices
• Carrying out transactions related to General Accounting in accordance with the legislation, accounting procedures and principles
  
• Following up on matters related to Tax Offices and social security institutions
  
• Making current account reconciliations and verifications
  
• Issuing purchase and sales invoices, making and controlling accounting records
  
• SSI entry and exit, follow-up of personnel files
  
• Preparation of legal declarations and sending them to the revenue administration, (VAT, Withholding Tax, Stamp, Provisional Tax, Corporate Tax)
