MICROSOFT OSS LEAD

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or any other related field,
• Experience working with deployment and orchestration technologies (such as Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos, OpenStack, Puppet, Chef, Salt, Ansible, Jenkins),
• Ability to configure and automate server builds,
• Linux shell scripting,
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud platforms,
• Experience with Linux (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu) administration,
• Knowledge of OSS tools and utilities for managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting Linux infrastructure and networks,
• Basic networking and network security experience including routing and switching, packet sniffing, SSL, etc.,
• Knowledge of DevOps cycle and associated tools such as JIRA, Maven, Jenkins/Hudson,
• Basic knowledge of Github, HDFS, Hadoop, Cloudera, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, JBoss, OSGI, Virgo,
• Good command of spoken and written English.

• Work closely with the sales and post-sales teams,
• Develop Cloud leads from Microsoft, partners and the sales team,
• Helping organizations with Cloud solutions based on client requirements and design specifications,
• Help customers define a roadmap, consumption costs and migration plans to migrate on-premises applications to Microsoft Azure,
• Work as a though leader with customers in helping them to adopt cloud PaaS services,
• Product presentations to new customers, identifying and assessing customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction,
• Evaluate and prototype POC using the best technologies,
• Recommend a solution that aligns with the customer’s business needs and requirements (discuss benefits and risks),
• Able to articulate pros & cons of the architecture decision across a wide spectrum of factors,
• Developing and maintaining relationships with key technical contacts within the customer accounts and becoming a trusted adviser to these individuals.
