QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

For our Coneco Çorlu/Ulaş plant, operating in the food packaging industry, we are looking for aQuality Manager with the following qualifications:

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the food or food packaging industry.
• Strong knowledge of Management Systems (Quality, Environment, and Occupational Health & Safety) and Quality Standards, including BRCGS Packaging, ISO Standards, Sedex/SMETA, FSC/PEFC, and HACCP.
• Proven experience in preparing for and leading internal, customer, and certification audits.
• Good knowledge of food and food packaging regulations.
• Experience in establishing, maintaining, and updating internal quality documentation, including standards, technical specifications, procedures, and quality guidelines.
• Experience in monitoring compliance with local and international food safety, hygiene, and packaging regulations.
• Experience in managing customer complaints and supplier quality issues, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Residing in or willing to relocate to the Çorlu/Ulaş area.

Job Description

The Quality Manager will be responsible for leading all Quality Assurance activities within the company and ensuring full compliance with local and international food packaging regulations and customer requirements.

The successful candidate will:

• Manage and continuously improve the company's Quality Management System.
• Ensure compliance with BRCGS Packaging, ISO Standards, Sedex/SMETA, FSC/PEFC, HACCP, and other applicable certification requirements.
• Plan, coordinate, and lead internal, customer, certification, and regulatory audits.
• Lead Quality, Environmental, and Occupational Health & Safety initiatives across the organization.
• Develop, maintain, and improve quality procedures, specifications, and documentation.
• Manage customer complaints and supplier quality issues, ensuring timely root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor regulatory developments and ensure ongoing compliance with applicable food packaging legislation.
• Promote a strong quality culture by fostering effective communication and collaboration across all departments.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
