 We are looking for a Tax Assistant Manager to be assigned to our headquarters inMaslak, Istanbul.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA is preferred
• Minimum 5 years of tax experience with a significant amount of time, tax compliance, planning, and strategy
• Proficient in analyzing financial data, identifying tax implications, and making informed decisions to optimize tax outcomes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex tax concepts to non-tax professionals effectively
• Proven ability to lead and develop a team, foster a collaborative work environment, and drive results
• Act as a liaison with local tax authorities and ensure timely responses to inquiries and correspondence
• Support and manage tax audits and inspections conducted by the tax authorities
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and evaluate their potential impact on the company
• Meticulous and accurate in reviewing tax documents and preparing tax returns to ensure compliance with relevant tax laws
• Capable of identifying tax-related challenges and proposing practical solutions to mitigate risks
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities, and adapt to changing tax laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• Monitor and ensure compliance with local tax regulations
• Review and control tax returns prepared by group companies or external advisors
• Act as the main point of contact for tax authorities
• Coordinate and manage tax audits and inspections
• Conduct internal tax compliance checks and risk assessments
• Track legislative changes and evaluate their impact on the group
• Support internal stakeholders with technical tax guidance
