QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

D-Resort Göcek offers you newly designed up to international luxury standard with Bed&Breakfast concept. Resort provides to its guests an elegant and luxurious concept with its new 103 comfortable rooms that reveal lush gardens and the splendor of the surrounding mountains, as well as one Presidential Suite and 6 Revenue Centers. 
  
We are looking for a  Sales Manager for our hotel D- Resort Gocek who must have;
 

  • Relevant degree or Diploma from an accredited university in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or related major
  • 5 or more years experience in sales department (Preferably a 5 star hotel)
  • Experience in banquet service & rooms selling
  • Good level of written and verbal English
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Pays attention to personal appearance
  • Should be an advanced user of MS Office applications
  • No military service obligation for male candidates


İŞ TANIMI

  • To ensure the development of increase hotel sales, and to implement the hotel marketing plan, as well as pertinent corporate Marketing and business development activities
  • To direct all sales activities for Sales Managers to ensure that they meet the goals of the Marketing Plan
  • To represent the Sales and Marketing functions and needs of the hotel in the development of the Company’s policy
  • To be responsible in planning and executing sales trips to major market areas and report to the Hotel Director on new potential market areas that should be covered
  • To attend major trade and travel functions, i.e. trade shows and local hotel and tourist associations meetings to promote sales of the hotel
  • To develop and supervise the implementation of programs to ensure proper execution of all group meeting and functions
  • To increase occupancy, average rate and profits of the hotel through planning, guidance and training of hotel sales personnel
  • To define and develop an appropriate business development strategy for both domestic and international markets
  • To maintain personal contact with key customers and to back-up the activities of any member of the business development team when required
  • To provide feedback and market information to Hotel Director on changing market conditions and all business development activities through the mean of weekly communications meetings and monthly reports, including trends on the competition
  • To assist in the training of the employees ensuring that they have the necessary skills to perform their duties with the maximum efficiency
  • To supervise the employees within the department, ensuring that the correct standards and methods of service are maintained as stated in the department’s reference manuals
