Assistant General Manager

We are looking for a team member who will strengthen the high service quality we offer our guests atDoubleTree by Hilton Istanbul Umraniye, as well as our operational culture built around Hilton standards.

We welcome applications for the position of Assistant General Manager, an experienced hospitality professional with strong leadership skills, operational management experience, and a solid understanding of Hilton’s brand culture, who will help take our dynamic organization to the next level.

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism Management, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in the hospitality industry
• Previous experience in Hilton hotels and familiarity with Hilton brand standards is preferred
• Advanced level of English
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations and a guest satisfaction-oriented service culture
• Strong leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills
• Strong analytical mindset; proficient in reporting, budget monitoring, and quality management
• Flexible and adaptable to working hours, with a high level of responsibility and commitment

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Manage the hotel’s operations in close coordination with the General Manager
• Monitor the implementation of Hilton brand standards and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
• Manage processes aimed at enhancing guest satisfaction
• Monitor the performance, budgets, and operational targets of department heads
• Contribute to revenue management and cost control
• Ensure the continuity of service quality, hygiene standards, and operational processes
• Develop employee development plans and monitor training processes
• Take an active role in guest complaint management and crisis situations
• Assume full responsibility for the hotel’s operations in the absence of the General Manager
