The Sales Engineer – Defence, Critical Infrastructure & Industrial Solutions role is a full-time, on-site position based in Ankara, Türkiye. The role involves engaging with defence and critical infrastructure clients to understand technical and operational requirements, developing tailored solutions using ECLIPS’ deployable and logistics platforms, and preparing technical and commercial proposals. The Sales Engineer collaborates closely with engineering, product, and project teams to translate customer needs into feasible designs, supports demonstrations and trials, and provides ongoing technical support throughout the sales cycle. Day-to-day activities include managing a sales pipeline, conducting site visits and presentations, responding to tenders and RFQs, and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders. The role also includes gathering market and competitor insights to inform product development and contributing to long-term customer strategies.
Qualifications
§ Candidates should possess strong Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills to interpret customer requirements, develop solutions, and support implementation.
§ Candidates should possess effective Communication and Customer Service skills to engage stakeholders, conduct presentations, and maintain long-term client relationships.
§ Candidates should possess proven Sales skills, including pipeline management, negotiation, and closing complex technical deals.
§ Relevant experience in defence, critical infrastructure, industrial or logistics solutions is highly beneficial.
§ Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
§ Ability to work on-site in Ankara, Türkiye, collaborate within multidisciplinary teams, and travel domestically and internationally as required.
§ Strong problem-solving capabilities, familiarity with containerized or modular systems, and understanding of supply chain or logistics environments are advantageous.
