System Engineer

As a part of the maintenance team this position will be responsible for the maintenance requirements of Scada and electronic systems. H/she could supervise the maintenance technicians for the daily activities on site. He/she assists in Scada system reporting, site control, site tests and improvement activities to the Senior System Engineer.  Duties will include but will not be limited only to the following

JOB DESCRIBTION

·         Assists corrective and routine maintenance for Scada and electronics systems.

·         Troubleshoot, analyse, and resolve the technical problems on Scada and electronic systems.

·         Ensures working at standard operating conditions of the software on a 24-hour basis, such equipment including, but not limited to: Scada, ITS (Intelligent traffic signalisation), fire detecting and alarm, radio rebroadcast, CCTV and AID camera systems, public announce, telephony, videowall, access control, tunnel and building network system other electronics systems.

·         Implement and guide systems to ensure continual working of the different equipment, hardware, and software, used to enable a smooth, safe, and efficient service during operations on a 24-hour basis

·         Put in place and update necessary maintenance plans, process, and procedures to ensure working of Scada and electronics systems.

·         Evaluate and recommend equipment and software for existing and proposed systems

·         Interface and coordinate system requirements

·         Maintain contact with external technical support groups and coordinate work performed by contractors

·         Prepare and report Health and Safety records according to O&M contract

·         Maintain an inventory of parts for emergency repairs

·         To comply with the relevant procedures, directives, and other legal requirements of all certificated management systems.

·         Comply with HSE rules and procedures, code of ethical rules and HR policies of the Company.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

·         Bachelor’s degree in electrical and electronics or computer engineering

·         2-3 of experience in industrial environment

·         2 years’ experience at critical facilities such as railways, metro, tunnels, airports, bank headquarters, data centres and hospitals. (Preference reason)

·         Demonstrate experience supervising a technical team within a high-risk working environment.

·         Knowledge and experience Scada automation, process control and plc software (Preferable wincc OA and ABB Plc)

·         Understanding of IT system components and basic network structure

·         Knowledge of basic network, IP, VLAN, remote connection

·         Knowledge of communication protocols such as Modbus TCP/IP-RTU, SNMP, OPC

·         Code writing or analysing in C++, C# or Visual Basic (Preference reason)

·         Ability to learn different user interface software 

·          Familiar of using of maintenance management tool such as SAP, Maximo, Coswin. (Preference reason)

·         A qualification in Asset Management would be highly regarded (Preference reason)

·         Ability to work co-operatively as a member of the Infrastructure and Equipment team

·         Good communication and problem-solving skills

·         Good knowledge of English both written and spoken

·         Good MS Office programs knowledge

·         Having B Class driving license
