QUALIFICATIONS

• B.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering is required. M.Sc. on transportation engineering, geotechnical engineering, structure engineering is preferred, 
• Experience in Design Management on large scale infrastructure projects
• Excellent command of written and English is a must,
• Required software knowledge; Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Civil 3d,
• Knowledge on structure and geotechnical software to review design calculations,
• Strong communication, leadership and planning skills,
• Analytical thinking, result oriented, enthusiastic, self-motivated, positive and energetic,
• No restriction to travel and stay abroad.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Prepare design execution plans. 
• Coordination, planning and management of the design process and coordinate design activities with related project disciplines, customer and design subcontractors.
• Report on the progress of the design, highlighting delay issues to be addressed, the design subcontractor’s solution to engineering issues and significant accomplishments of the contractors.
• Prepare and manage with the design subcontractor a sub-schedule of their work in conjunction with the design master schedule and the information production schedule or other relevant schedule. 
• Conducts performance reviews in accordance with approved procedures.
• Prepares or oversees the preparation of discipline estimates and work plan in accordance with project scope, schedule and budget, and manages implementation and performance accordingly. 
• Reviews and recommends key engineering drawings and calculations, design documents relating to the discipline.
• Supervises and provides technical direction to subordinate designers and drafters.
• Liaise with field, design and client personnel as required to resolve design conflicts or ambiguities.
• Constructability reviews as the design progresses.
• Provide technical advice regarding design, construction, or program modifications
• Coordinate and ensure that design subcontractor works on project needs.
