QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in rigging and heavy lifting engineering within Oil & Gas or major Industrial EPC projects.
• Proven experience working under TotalEnergies or equivalent international operator standards is highly preferred.
• Strong EPC contractor or PMC background with experience in critical and modular lifting operations.
• Valid Rigging & Lifting Engineer Certification from a recognized third-party organization.
• Appointed Person / Lifting Engineer Certification.
• NEBOSH or an equivalent HSE qualification is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Permit-to-Work (PTW) and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Develop lifting and rigging plans, method statements, and engineering calculations for routine and critical lifting activities.
• Coordinate and supervise heavy lifting and rigging operations to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant execution.
• Review lifting equipment, rigging arrangements, crane configurations, and load calculations in accordance with project and client requirements.
• Ensure all lifting activities comply with TotalEnergies lifting standards, approved procedures, HSE regulations, and applicable industry codes.
• Provide technical support to construction, installation, and commissioning teams while identifying and mitigating lifting-related risks.
