We are seeking for a Senior to join our EY Legal department in İstanbul with the following qualifications;

• University degree in law from a reputable Turkish University or from a Foreign University duly accepted in Turkey
• Strong corporate know-how in Turkish Commercial Code and Code of Obligations and Labor law.
• Fluency and high command in verbally and written in both Turkish and English.
• Minimum 2-4 years of full-time experience at a company as an inhouse lawyer or as a law firm lawyer dedicated for companies both for litigation and corporate matters.   
• Basic Regulatory and Corporate compliance and company policies experience.
• Corporate Secreterial Services experience such as Annual General Board Meetings and Board of Directors Resolutions etc.
• Able to communicate in multi cultural business environment.
• Knowledge and experience in writing, reviewing and executing business contracts.
• Male candidates should have completed their military service.
• Good command in MS Office.

Job description;

• Ensure proper handling of writing, reviewing and executing business contracts such as engagement letters, NDA's, Service contracts, General Terms & Conditions and handling the related contract negotiation meetings with the Client companies.
• Carrying out all inter company correspondence and communication.
• Follow ups of all current litigation and enforcement files in connection with the external lawyers.
• Preparation and follow ups of the Corporate Secreterial Services such as Annual General Board Meetings and Board of Directors Resolutions, etc.

·        Ensure of drafting and preparing different types of agreements in the field of Turkish Commercial Code and Turkish Code of Obligations

• Compliance Guideline follow ups such as ensure and advising regulatory compliance with local laws and company policies and implementation of Company policies and prosedures. Search, follow up and updating of the corporate compliance guideline material.
• Ensuring the necessary legal search and drafting the necessary legal opinions.

·        Ensuring the legal search of laws and regulations including with the company rules and guidelines regarding the corporate compliance matters.
