ICYF MEDIA PROFESSIONAL. Social Media Officer 

 Reports To 

ICYF Professional will report to, positions title. 

 Job Overview 

Responsible for the management and growth of ICYF social media presence across multiple brand outposts. The role is responsible for planning/implementing an ICYF content media programs which increases awareness of its programs and activities through the effective use of social media channels. 

 Responsibilities and Duties  

Implement the ICYF’s social media strategy and oversee the development and delivery of the social media content marketing plan;

 Work closely with the ICYF management team to develop social media content strategy and campaigns that help to achieve ICYF corporate marketing goals; 

Monitor the ICYF’s social media accounts and offer constructive interaction with users; 

Lead daily media content management across all central brand social media outposts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, LinkedIn); 

Lead the generation/creation/placement of engaging, creative and informative organic content across all central brand social media outposts which informs, entertains and delights audiences about ICYF programs and activities; 

 Ensure content has a high visual and influential impact and meets ICYF media expectations; 

Coordinate media content plan with other teams in the ICYF office and support their respective missions, ensuring consistency in voice and cultivating an engaged social media community; 

Analyze the long-term needs of ICYF’s social media strategy and offer regular reports to the management that outline any necessary changes to the digital marketing plan; 

Develop monthly reports on emerging social media trends that will be submitted to the management and executive teams; 

Continually survey the social media landscape to identify new platforms / research and analyze trends / opportunities to grow reach / opportunities to connect / convert core target audience 

Any other duties required which are appropriate to the position 

Preparing conceptual designs/logos for ICYF projects; print materials (Invitations, Brochures, banners, posters etc.) 

Produce animated promotion materials and different media concepts for ICYF projects (example OIC Youth Capital) 

Assisting with the follow up and coordination of media Projects

Must possess a good understanding of the social media landscape end-to-end. 

Strong social media skillset across the entire social media landscape. 

Maintain a professional approach at all times (team player). 

Manage work effectively and deliver to deadlines (internal/external). 

Work with other staff effectively to help maximize team outputs. 

Ensure the Management is updated regularly on progress against assigned tasks. 

An effective communicator (verbal and written) to ensure that effective working relationships / partnerships are forged and maintained. 

Project management skills/awareness. 

Maintain a professional approach at all times through the application of effective relevant skills. 

Working with other staff effectively to help maximize their performance by working as one team 

Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. 

Able to review / assess / make recommendations as a result of analysis. 

Multitasker able to work across multiple projects to tight timescales. 

Theoretical knowledge of project planning, development and evaluation. 

Working knowledge of international organizations. 

Proficient in data management and computer skills.
