For further growth of our businesses, we are looking for Plant Engineering Leader for our Manisa facility.

Your Job

As Plant Engineering Leader, you will manage and further develop the Plant Engineering department, ensuring reliable and efficient technical services for production. You will contribute to the plant strategy by developing future-oriented production, machinery and plant concepts that strengthen operational efficiency and delivery capability.

In this role, you will lead strategic engineering and investment initiatives, support the introduction of new technologies and actively contribute to the continuous development of the global Festo production network.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead and continuously develop the Plant Engineering department and its technical service capabilities.
• Ensure technical support for production in the areas of new product development, automation and control technology, assembly planning, equipment design and construction, project planning and maintenance.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of the plant strategy.
• Plan and manage major investment projects within the area of responsibility.
• Develop efficient processes for the planning, procurement, commissioning and maintenance of manual and automated production systems.
• Identify new technologies and processes and adapt them to Festo products to enable reliable and process-safe industrialization.
• Plan and implement organizational and structural improvements.
• Define, implement and monitor strategic targets for the department.
• Drive sustainable cost savings and productivity improvements.
• Support production-oriented product development.
• Share technical expertise across the international Festo production network through consulting, training, knowledge exchange and the development of standards and guidelines.
• Cooperate closely with Production, Quality, Material Management, Controlling, Occupational Safety, Purchasing and Development.
• Coordinate with internal and external technology partners and negotiate with suppliers regarding services, quality, costs and deadlines.
• Lead, coach and develop employees while actively promoting Festo’s leadership culture and performance management approach.

Your Qualifications

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Production Systems, Industrial Engineering or a comparable technical field.
• Professional experience (min. 10 years) in plant engineering, production engineering or a related industrial environment.
• Sound knowledge of automation technology, production systems, equipment engineering and maintenance processes.
• Experience in managing technical projects, investments and budgets.
• Leadership experience with the ability to guide, coach and develop teams.
• Strong analytical thinking and a structured, solution-oriented approach.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and international stakeholders.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
