Quality Control Team Leader
We are looking for a Quality Control Team Leader to join our company, which operates in the field of high-voltage cable protection grounding boxes (Link Box) and cable accessories manufacturing, and also conducts activities as an Accredited Testing Laboratory, R&D Center, andDesign Center.
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of quality control processes, possess analytical thinking skills, and be solution- and result-oriented.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform quality control and testing activities during production and final inspection stages
- Prepare and maintain test and quality control records and ensure timely submission to customers
- Support projects and activities carried out within the company’s Accredited Testing Laboratory, R&D Center, and Design Center
- Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of quality control processes on the production floor and provide improvement recommendations
- Conduct control and type tests for newly developed products and prepare reports regarding suitability for serial production
- Manage product testing activities during customer audits and site visits
- Coordinate high-voltage field testing operations
- Follow up maintenance, calibration, and verification processes of test equipment
- Provide regular quality and testing reports to the Quality Control Manager
- Coordinate the team in areas such as work planning, time management, reporting, and operational efficiency to ensure smooth execution of quality control processes
- Ensure compliance with procedures and instructions related to ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 management systems
- Support the implementation of quality, occupational health & safety, and environmental standards within production operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in the high-voltage, energy, or electrical equipment industry
- Strong knowledge of quality control, production processes, and testing procedures
- Ability to interpret electrical test results and technical specifications
- Experience in team management and leadership
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and result-oriented approach
- Effective communication skills, team-oriented mindset, and strong sense of responsibility
- Fluent in English
- Proficient in MS Office and ERP systems
- Preferably experienced with Canias ERP
- Valid Class B driving license and active driving skills
- Knowledge of ISO standards and Occupational Health & Safety processes
