FläktGroup Turkey factory is located in Dilovası / Kocaeli, with Sales & Service offices in Istanbul.

We are looking for a Senior QHSE Engineer to join our Quality Department at our Dilovası factory.

Job Description

• Manage the Quality Management System (QMS), customer complaints, and overall product quality within assigned responsibilities.
• Manage and maintain ISO certifications, CE marking, Eurovent certifications, and other regulatory approvals.
• Support ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) initiatives by coordinating environmental performance data, monitoring sustainability KPIs, and contributing to corporate ESG reporting.
• Drive environmental improvement projects focusing on waste reduction, energy efficiency, resource optimization, recycling, and pollution prevention.
• Ensure compliance with applicable environmental, occupational health & safety, and legal requirements.
• Promote a culture that prioritizes Quality, Environment, Health & Safety through effective communication, leadership, and accountability.
• Train and develop employees on Quality, Environmental, and HSE management system requirements.
• Manage ISO 9001 standards and related processes while deploying globally defined procedures and maintaining local requirements.
• Define, plan, and execute internal and external system, process, product, environmental, and supplier audits.
• Monitor Quality and ESG-related KPIs to identify improvement opportunities and enhance management system performance.
• Prepare quality, environmental, and sustainability reports by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting relevant data.
• Develop and implement inspection, testing, and evaluation methods for products and manufacturing processes.
• Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with quality and environmental standards.
• Perform final product inspections to verify compliance with customer, regulatory, and company requirements.
• Support Supplier Quality Management, including supplier qualification, audits, development, and sustainability assessments where applicable.
• Manage customer, supplier, internal, and audit-related complaints using structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Ensure calibration and effective management of all measuring and testing equipment.
• Manage Quality Document Management System (QDMS) activities, ensuring proper documentation, version control, and continuous improvement.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) using structured quality tools.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and other operational excellence methodologies.
• Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, HSE, and Global Quality teams to improve product quality and operational performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Systems Management within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001) and environmental compliance is preferred.
• Knowledge of ESG principles, sustainability reporting, or corporate sustainability initiatives is considered an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
• Experience with CE marking, Eurovent certification, and regulatory compliance.
• Certified Internal Auditor/Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 is preferred.
• ISO 14001 Internal/Lead Auditor certification is considered an advantage.
• Experience in project management, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), and continuous improvement.
• Experience in process development, documentation, and quality system management.
• Familiarity with QDMS or similar document management software is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English (direct reporting to Global Quality Management).
