Ford-Otosan's Product Development organization thrives on seeking out industry's business and technology firsts in Turkey and its export markets. We are happy to announce vacancies for candidates to share our passion in developing new technologies and products for next generation Ford vehicles. Vacancies are open on different departments for design and release of vehicle systems, computer aided simulation and attribute development teams.

Role:
- Responsible for design, analysis and development of the automotive systems and components from concept phase to final product phase with a wider engineering team using methodologies such as CAD, CAE, System Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (DFMEA) and Design Validation Plans (DVPR)

- Engineer and optimise quality, cost, weight, and functional targets
- Develops Product Development processes, core foundation documents, knowledge base for the systems and components

- Leads problem solving and issue resolution in manufacturing plants and field, by making use of established problem solving methodologies (8D, 6-Panel)

Profile:
- At least 5 years of work experience in automotive design and development area
- MS or PhD. degree in mechanical, mechatronics, control, computer, electric or electronics engineering

- Strong engineering and scientific background in an agile working culture

- Preferred matlab/simulink or coding skills

- Good knowledge of product development quality tools and methods

- Profound vehicle systems knowledge

- Experience in 3D CAD tools (Ideas, CATIA) and parametric design

- Good analytical and problem solving skills

- Good communication skills and team work

- Work in an Agile, collaborative environments
