BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER

A well-established engineering company is looking for a Business Development Engineer to identify new business opportunities, develop customer relationships, and manage technical and commercial proposal processes in line with its growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Identifying new customers, projects, and business opportunities,
• Establishing relationships with potential customers and strengthening existing client relations,
• Analyzing customer needs and developing appropriate technical and commercial solutions,
• Supporting proposal preparation, costing, feasibility, and contract processes,
• Reviewing technical specifications, tender documents, and customer requirements,
• Coordinating with engineering, project, sales, and operations teams,
• Conducting market, industry, and competitor analyses,
• Managing customer visits, meetings, and field activities,
• Preparing regular reports on business development activities and sales opportunities,
• Researching new sectors and business models that may contribute to company growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering,
• Experience in business development, technical sales, proposal preparation, project management, or a related engineering role,
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, specifications, and project drawings,
• Knowledge of costing, quotation, and contract processes,
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and representation skills,
• Analytical, result-oriented, and solution-focused mindset,
• Strong customer relationship management skills,
• Proficiency in MS Office applications,
• Good command of English,
• Willingness and ability to travel,
• Valid driving licence,
