About Studio Aurène

Studio Aurène is a new premium womenswear brand based in Amsterdam, creating refined ready-to-wear with a modern Paris-meets-Europe aesthetic. Working with an international team and trusted manufacturing partners across Türkiye, Portugal and Italy, we are building our first collections with a strong focus on quality, craftsmanship and responsible product development.

We are looking for an experienced Head of Product Development & Sourcing to lead our product development and sourcing strategy while building a scalable and efficient supply chain for the brand.

Role Overview

As Head of Product Development & Sourcing, you will lead the overall product development and supply chain function, ensuring every collection is delivered on time, within target costs and to Studio Aurène's premium quality standards.

You will work closely with the Design, Branding, Merchandising and Product teams, as well as our international supplier network, to drive product excellence, optimise product development processes and build long-term strategic supplier partnerships.

This is a strategic leadership role for an experienced product professional who is passionate about building high-performing teams, strong supplier partnerships and premium products.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development

• Lead the overall product development strategy, seasonal calendars and critical path from design handover through production readiness.
• Partner with Design, Branding and Merchandising to translate creative vision into commercially successful collections.
• Ensure every collection meets Studio Aurène's quality, fit, aesthetic and commercial objectives.

Sourcing & Supplier Management

• Develop and manage a high-performing international supplier network, including supplier selection, commercial negotiations and long-term supplier development.
• Drive sourcing strategies for fabrics, trims and manufacturing while supporting the brand's quality and commercial objectives.
• Continuously identify new suppliers, materials and manufacturing opportunities.

Supply Chain & Operations

• Oversee seasonal product development calendars and production readiness.
• Monitor supplier performance, production capacity, critical path milestones and operational risks to ensure on-time delivery.
• Ensure effective collaboration between internal teams and external manufacturing partners.

Leadership

• Lead, mentor and develop the Product Development team while building scalable processes and fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.
• Act as the key link between Design, Product Development, Merchandising, Production and Supply Chain to ensure efficient decision-making and execution.

Quality & Responsible Sourcing

• Safeguard Studio Aurène's premium product standards across all product categories.
• Promote responsible sourcing and continuous quality improvement throughout the supply chain.

Profile & QualificationsExperience

• 15+ years of experience in Product Development, Sourcing and/or Supply Chain within premium or contemporary fashion brands, including leadership experience and managing international supplier networks.
• Strong knowledge of ready-to-wear product development across soft wovens, tailoring, outerwear, jersey, knitwear, denim and leather.
• Previous leadership experience within premium, luxury or contemporary fashion brands is highly preferred.

Skills

• Strong commercial mindset with excellent understanding of product development, sourcing and costing.
• Excellent knowledge of garment construction and manufacturing processes.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel).
• Experience with PLM systems.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

• Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
• Highly organized, proactive and solution-oriented.
• Fluent in English; Turkish is required. Additional European languages are a plus.

Reporting Line

Reports directly to the Brand Director and works closely with senior leadership to support the successful execution of Studio Aurène's product strategy.
