QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree from universities offering a 4-year program in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Automotive Engineering
• Good command of English
• Thorough knowledge of qc standards, practices and testing techniques
• Thorough knowledge of statistical and analytical problem solving capabilities
• Considerable knowledge of supervisory principles and leadership techniques 
• Quality management experience in automotive industry
   

 JOB DESCRIPTION

• Manage customer satisfaction, supplier quality, quality system and technical support (Laboratory, metrology). Contribute in APQP process.
• Ensure plant quality is maintained at optimal levels, appropriate training opportunities are offered and continuous improvement efforts are effective.
• Ensures the effectiveness of the quality, environment and safety systems
• Track, report key plant quality metrics and establish plans to consistently improve key plant quality metrics
• Establish a continuous improvement process within the Quality Department at the plant level. Lead quality maintenance pillar within TPM  
• Apply analytical and statistical techniques to problem solving and continuous improvement opportunities.
• Ensure the correct application of the customer product/process approval procedure and APQP procedure/documentation by project team and the Plant
• Ensures that proper containment measures are taken if required
• Ensures that the product and process FMEA’s and control plans are correctly performed and regularly reviewed
• Organize and schedule laboratory testing. Ensures that the measurement plan is in accordance with customer and process requirement.
• Ensures preparation, validation and archiving of reference samples
• Organise product, process and system audits.
• Manage department expense, capital and personnel budgets and reduce cost of Quality at the plant.
• Effectively communicate performance expectations, manage, evaluate, monitor and develop employees to ensure their maximum contribution to the achievement of high quality output
