On behalf of our confidential client, a well-established company in the financial services sector, we are seeking a Regional Sales Director to lead commercial strategy, sales performance, and business growth across the assigned regions.
This executive leadership role is designed for a commercially driven professional with a proven track record of delivering sustainable growth, leading large-scale sales organizations, and translating business strategy into measurable commercial outcomes. The successful candidate will play a critical role in accelerating regional growth, strengthening sales excellence, and driving execution through high-performing regional leadership teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the regional commercial strategy in alignment with overall business objectives and growth targets
- Lead and inspire regional sales leadership teams to maximize customer acquisition, portfolio growth, and profitability
- Drive sustainable revenue growth through effective sales planning, performance management, and disciplined execution
- Own regional sales performance, ensuring achievement of revenue, productivity, and profitability targets through KPI-driven management
- Monitor market dynamics, customer trends, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and shape regional business strategies
- Build a high-performance sales culture by coaching regional managers, strengthening leadership capabilities, and driving talent development
- Partner closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between strategic initiatives and field execution
- Lead regional transformation initiatives, sales optimization projects, and continuous improvement efforts to enhance commercial effectiveness
- Ensure operational excellence, governance, compliance, and consistent execution across all regional sales operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree; Master's degree (MBA or related field) is an advantage
- 15+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, including senior regional or national leadership roles within banking, insurance, financial services, or similarly structured industries
- Proven success in leading large-scale, multi-site or multi-branch sales organizations
- Strong strategic planning, commercial management, and business development capabilities
- Demonstrated expertise in sales analytics, forecasting, budgeting, and performance management
- Strong leadership, executive communication, stakeholder management, and change management skills
- Experience in leading organizational growth, transformation, and high-performing commercial teams
- No travel restrictions
