Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of professional experience in Safety, Health & Environment within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in leading SHE activities, cross-functional projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of Turkish Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety legislation and manufacturing site applications.
• Hands-on experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems; ISO 50001 experience is an advantage.
• Experience in internal, external, customer, and certification audits.
• A Class Occupational Safety Specialist Certificate is preferred.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong leadership, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Candidates residing in Çorlu, Çerkezköy, or those willing to relocate to these locations will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) activities across the manufacturing facility.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, occupational health & safety legislation, company standards, and international management system requirements.
• Develop and continuously improve SHE policies, procedures, standards, and work instructions.
• Lead risk assessment processes, incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action follow-up.
• Manage workplace inspections, safety observations, internal audits, and ensure effective closure of action plans.
• Coordinate customer, certification, and regulatory audits, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 audits.
• Lead Occupational Health & Safety Committee activities and report SHE performance indicators and improvement plans to management.
• Oversee emergency preparedness activities, including evacuation drills and fire prevention practices.
• Manage environmental monitoring, workplace measurements, statutory inspections, calibration activities, and legal compliance processes.
• Ensure effective contractor management and Permit-to-Work system implementation.
• Lead waste management, sustainability, environmental protection, and energy efficiency initiatives.
• Coordinate environmental reporting processes and communication with external consultants and authorities.
• Develop SHE training plans, support awareness activities, and promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization.
• Monitor legislative and international standard updates and ensure timely implementation of required actions.
