About Studio Aurène

Studio Aurène is a new premium womenswear brand based in Amsterdam, creating refined ready-to-wear with a modern Paris-meets-Europe aesthetic. Working with an international team and trusted manufacturing partners across Türkiye, Portugal and Italy, we are building our first collections with a strong focus on quality, craftsmanship and responsible product development.

We are looking for an experienced Senior Womenswear Designer to refine, elevate and evolve Studio Aurène’s existing collections while contributing to the creative direction and development of future seasons.

Role Overview

As Senior Womenswear Designer, you will play a key role in shaping Studio Aurène’s design identity and translating creative concepts into refined, commercially successful collections.

Working closely with the Brand Director, Head of Product Development & Sourcing, Product Development and Merchandising teams, you will contribute to the creative and collection development process, ensuring each collection reflects Studio Aurène’s premium positioning while balancing creativity, functionality and commercial appeal.

This role is ideal for a highly creative womenswear designer with a refined aesthetic, strong technical knowledge and proven experience working with premium, luxury or contemporary fashion brands serving international markets.

Key Responsibilities

Collection Design & Creative Development

• Refine, elevate and develop timeless seasonal collections that reflect Studio Aurène’s creative vision, brand DNA and premium positioning.
• Create original design concepts, silhouettes, color palettes, fabric combinations and product details.
• Produce clear design presentations, CADs and technical drawings using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and CLO3D.
• Translate creative ideas into commercially successful and production-ready collections while maintaining a premium aesthetic.

Product Development Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with Product Development, Garment Technology and Merchandising teams throughout the collection development process.
• Participate in fittings and sample reviews, ensuring design intent is maintained from concept through production.
• Collaborate with suppliers on fabrics, trims, construction details and product improvements.

Trend & Market Research

• Conduct trend, consumer and competitor research to identify relevant creative and commercial opportunities.
• Research and source innovative fabrics, trims and design references aligned with Studio Aurène’s positioning.

Design Excellence & Teamwork

• Maintain consistency across product categories and ensure a cohesive collection and brand identity.
• Support continuous improvement in design quality, fit, construction and premium detailing.
• Guide and support the Junior Womenswear Designer while fostering a collaborative and creative working environment.

Profile & QualificationsExperience

• 10+ years of experience in womenswear design within premium, luxury or contemporary fashion brands serving international markets.
• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design from a recognised university or internationally respected fashion academy.
• Previous experience working with European premium, luxury or contemporary fashion brands is highly preferred.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating premium womenswear collections, creative concepts and technical design capabilities is required.

Technical Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
• Advanced proficiency in CLO3D.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
• Excellent CAD, hand-sketching, digital illustration and presentation skills.
• Strong understanding of fabrics, trims, garment construction, fit and premium finishing techniques.

• Highly creative, with a refined design aesthetic and strong commercial awareness.
• Passionate about premium womenswear, craftsmanship and product excellence.
• Detail-oriented, proactive and solution-oriented.
• Strong communication, presentation and collaboration skills.
• Fluent in English; Turkish is required. Additional European languages are a plus.

Reporting Line

Reports directly to the Brand Director and works closely with the Head of Product Development & Sourcing, Product Development and Merchandising teams.
