QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a teammate in the Software Engineer – Web Scraping position.
Qualifications
- Having graduated from Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics or similar departments of Universities (preferably with high CGPA degree).
- 1 – 2 years of experience building systems using python and other languages to scrape data from web pages.
- Experience in web scraping, REST APIs, such as Selenium, Beautiful Soup, and all JSON APIs.
- Experience implementing complex projects with multiple dependencies.
- Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XPath, JSON).
- Knowledge of cloud, containerization, scaling, and orchestration technologies.
An understanding of how to build resilient and scalable distributed software.
Job description
- Create and improve processes, tools, workflows, and resilient data architecture to scrape web content.
Identify and rectify any issues with breaks as well as scale scrapers as needed.
Preferred Candidate
