The company has extensive expertise in various types of glass furnaces, including float, container, fiber, soda, and tableware, with capacities ranging from 50 to 1200 tons.

It provides end-to-end solutions such as cold repair, hot repair, glass-to-glass conversions, turnkey furnace installations, and furnace steel procurement. Position Purpose

The primary objective of the Business Development Specialist role is to drive the company's global business development initiatives by researching, analyzing, and managing strategic data related to companies, facilities, and equipment operating in high-temperature industries (primarily the glass industry, as well as petrochemical, iron & steel, waste-to-energy, and energy sectors).

The position is expected to play a key role in establishing and continuously improving the company's global business intelligence infrastructure while supporting strategic business development activities through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Create sector-based global company lists and consolidate existing data.
• Clean data sets, eliminate duplicates, and build master data tables.
• Develop the facility database through country–plant mapping.
• Collect technical data related to furnaces and equipment (e.g., repair dates, campaign durations, EPC and design information, etc.)
• Conduct research via supplier portals (vendor registration processes and requirements)
• Identify the right contacts at technical, procurement, and senior management levels
• Provide data and analytical support to business development processes
• Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports
• Contribute to CRM and data management processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, International Trade, or a related field.
• Strong interest in research, data collection, and analysis
• 2 years of experience in the field
• Detail-oriented with a systematic working approach
• At least B1 level of English (B2 and above is preferred)
• Ability to conduct research using international sources
• Strong analytical thinking and classification skills
• Ability to adapt to a KPI- and performance-driven work environment
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills
• Interest in business development and commercial processes
• Willingness to use AI tools in research processes 

• Comfortable working in a KPI- and performance-driven environment.
• Strong interest in international business development and commercial strategy.
• Willingness to leverage AI tools in research and business development processes.
