QUALIFICATIONS

• University graduate, preferably from engineering departments, Environmental Engineering is desired,
• At least 2 years’ experience in waste management. Chemical or related industry experience (desired).
• Knowledge of environmental report system and UATF
• Basic knowledge of ADR directive and management
• Knowledge of MOTAT report and tracking system
• Knowledge of ISO 14001 Environmental Management System
• Minimum C or B Class Occupational Health and Safety Specialist Certificate from Ministry of Labor and Social Security
• Strong working knowlege of environmental laws and regulations related to manufacturing operations. 
• Good negotiation skills to work with all apsects, government agencies and team members
• Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience. Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluent reading, writing, and speaking in English,
• Experience in use of Microsoft and other computer systems.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

• Responsible for managing waste streams at by product area (for both non-hazardous and hazardous)
• Prepare daily and monthly basis report for each waste streams
• Managing and organizing the daily routine of by product area
• Responsible for the safe operation of drivers and transportation of waste
• Prepare for and facilitate internal/external audits, evaluate /challenge audit findings and develop/document action plans.
• Prepare and coordinate periodic reports required for permits and meeting regulatory requirements.
• Partner with other functions and lead efforts to continuously
• Partner with related functions to develop strategies and actions to improve Environmental performance
• Evaluate aspects, impacts opportunities, risks, and legal requirements in order to coordinate actions/projects to support the plant be compliant with legal requirements, with the operating permit and environmental protection
• Improve plant waste management and Environmental culture.
• Auditing site, identifying corrective actions, developing and closing the corrective actions

• Manage, coach and develop a team of 8-12 direct reports
