On behalf of our international client headquartered in France, we are looking for an agile, proactive Accounting & Financial Reporting Specialist / Senior Specialist ready to bridge core statutory accounting operations with strategic management reporting and financial control.

Position Overview

Directly reporting to the CFO, this role is designed for a dynamic finance professional with a solid operational background in Turkish statutory accounting, tax declarations, and risk management who aspires to transition into international financial planning, analysis, and management reporting.

The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day statutory mechanics while playing a pivotal role in delivering monthly management reporting packages to global headquarters and supporting executive decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Statutory Accounting, Invoicing & Tax Compliance:

• Manage end-to-end local accounting processes in full compliance with the Turkish Commercial Code and Tax Procedural Law (VUK).
• Prepare, reconcile, and file all statutory tax declarations (VAT/KDV, Withholding/Muhtasar, Advance Corporate Tax/Geçici Vergi, Corporate Income Tax/Kurumlar Vergisi, and Ba-Bs).
• Oversee operational invoicing, e-Billing solutions (e-Invoice, e-Archive, e-Ledger), and vendor/customer reconciliation processes.

Financial Reporting & Analysis (HQ / France):

• Support and coordinate the delivery of monthly management reporting packages to the French headquarters within the first 5 business days of each month.
• Assist in reconciling local statutory accounts to IFRS standards for consolidated group reporting.
• Prepare ad-hoc financial reports, variance analyses, and operational performance metrics requested by local leadership and headquarters.

Financial Control & Accruals:

• Record month-end journal entries, prepayments, depreciation, and expense accruals within the ERP system.
• Track OPEX/CAPEX budgets, analyze budget vs. actual deviations, and evaluate sales and inventory data through a commercial finance lens.

Treasury & Financial Risk Governance:

• Supervise banking operations, daily cash flow visibility, foreign exchange (FX) transactions, and vendor disbursements.
• Track customer credit limits, monitor receivables aging, and evaluate counterpart credit risk (excluding operational collection phone calling).

Qualifications & Competencies

• Experience: Minimum 3+ years of progressive experience in core statutory accounting, statutory tax declarations, and financial operations. Prior exposure to both local operational accounting and group reporting/financial control environments is a strong asset.
• Education & Credentials: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline. CPA (SMMM) qualification or candidacy at an advanced stage is strongly preferred.
• Language Skills: Fluency in English (both written and spoken) is required for cross-border collaboration and direct reporting to headquarters. French is a distinct plus.
• Technical Skills:
• Comprehensive mastery of Turkish tax legislation, statutory filings, and e-transformation systems.
• Working knowledge of or active exposure to IFRS reporting standards.
• Advanced proficiency in corporate ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Candidate Profile: Strong analytical mindset, acute attention to detail, and high motivation to evolve from hands-on accounting into international corporate finance.
