As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive professional to join our Finance team as an"Income Controller". In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of hotel revenues, monitoring daily income transactions, identifying discrepancies, and maintaining effective financial controls across all revenue-generating operations.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify daily revenue transactions across all hotel revenue centers to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Reconcile daily revenues from Rooms, Food & Beverage, Spa, Events, Retail, and other revenue-generating outlets with relevant systems and reports.
• Verify room charges, rates, discounts, complimentary services, allowances, rebates, and adjustments in accordance with company policies.
• Review and reconcile cash, credit card, and other payment transactions against system records and supporting documentation.
• Prepare daily revenue reports and ensure accurate posting of revenues to the General Ledger.
• Investigate revenue discrepancies, posting errors, and unusual transactions, and coordinate corrective actions with relevant departments.
• Monitor revenue-related internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies, financial procedures, and audit requirements.
• Review interfaces between PMS, POS, payment systems, and financial systems to ensure accurate and complete data transfer.
• Support month-end closing activities by preparing revenue reconciliations, accruals, and supporting documentation.
• Collaborate closely with Finance, Front Office, Reservations, Food & Beverage, Spa, Events, and other operational teams to ensure accurate revenue recognition.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required revenue reports, reconciliations, and supporting documents.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen revenue controls, improve processes, and minimize revenue leakage.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Income Audit, Revenue Control, Finance, or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Strong understanding of hotel revenue streams, income auditing, reconciliation processes, and financial controls.
• Knowledge of hotel systems such as PMS, POS, and ERP/financial systems; experience with Opera and similar hospitality systems is an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to identify discrepancies, analyze financial data, and follow through on corrective actions.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and revenue recognition processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality when handling financial information.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
