Field Sales Engineer

For a role in the Sales Department of our company, operating in the field of cables, flexible cable trays and pre-assembled cables.

Job Description

• Providing product-based advice during visits to machinery manufacturers as well as industrial and manufacturing companies within the assigned region,
• Contributing to the expansion of the customer base and the increase in sales volume,
• Identifying potential new customers through market research and actively generating sales opportunities,
• Processing orders once customer requirements have been established,
• Ensuring follow-up on submitted quotations,
• Tracking outstanding receivables,
• Handling and monitoring customer complaints,
• Providing excellent customer service,
• Planning and conducting customer visits, primarily in the Anatolia and Black Sea regions.

Requirements

• A university degree (Bachelor's or Master's degree), preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related engineering discipline,
• Technical expertise in the fields of Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics,
• At least 4 years of professional experience in sales, marketing, business development or a comparable customer-facing role,
• Strong communication, interpersonal and persuasion skills,
• A team-oriented, meticulous and detail-focused approach to work,
• Proficiency in MS Office applications,
• Business-fluent English language skills (minimum C1 level; advanced reading, writing and speaking skills),
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned sales region,
• Valid Class B driving licence,
• For male applicants: completion of compulsory military service or exemption from military service,
• Residence in Ankara.
