• Having a bachelor's degree in an Engineering department (ideally within the Chemical Engineering or Chemistry), MBA is desirable
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience, solid know-how in the Surface Treatment
• Fluent in spoken and written English, German is an asset
• Good command of computer knowledge and MS office applications
• SAP knowledge is an asset
• Flexible for frequently traveling in domestic travellig, as well as international (when/if needed) (may require up to 70%)
• Result oriented professional who is eager to take initiative
• No military obligation for male candidates
• Valid driving license

İŞ TANIMI

Surface Treatment Technical Manager will be assuming responsibility across IMEA Region.
 
1. Technology Transfer & Project Management

• Creating and managing project network for technology transfer projects (localization projects)
• Managing the projects under his/her assignment from the contract phase until handing over to the customer and/or sales team
• Managing client and/or internal cross functional teams (Purchasing, Plant, Supply Chain Teams), assuming responsibility for delivering complex project outcomes on time and with quality
• Applying to the technical and functional expertise to clarify assignments and deliverables; mentor stakeholders in project lifecycle management, and managing the integration of stakeholders’ work
• Responsible from implementation of new product projects in customer line which includes deciding process parameters, making production trials for achieving customer specification
• Developing continuous improvement projects in partnership with the customers

2. Henkel Production Activities

• Preparing production instructions - process flow diagrams & creating necessary folders on SAP during the localization step. Ensuring all procedures of technical servicing and practicing adhere to company ISO and SHE procedures
• Examining products under claim, providing samples for lab analysis and assess possible retries
• Managing slow movers, block stocks and dead stocks

3. Client Management

• Developing a deep understanding of the customers´ processes and needs to improve customer satisfaction
• Monitoring product performance in the customer´s facilities and provide pro-active and problem solving technical support to customers
• Dealing with customer requests about products, applications and regulatory documents
• Realizing regular customer visits personally or with sales team to support and/or train technically (theoretical/practically)

4. Customer & Dealer & Sales Team Training

• Determining training needs, creating training plans and giving in-house trainings according to the training needs
