BIW Team Leader

We are looking for a BIW Team Leader with the following specifications for our company that provides design and engineering services in the automotive industry for local and international platforms.

·         BS or higher degree in Mechanical / Automotive / Aircraft / Naval Architecture or Marine Engineering,

·        At least 8 years of experience in automotive industry and vehicle body parts design and/or production, knowledge of automotive design and development processes, system requirements, and general engineering best practices,

·        Preferably experience in welding methods and technologies,

·        Preferably experience in sheet metal forming methods and technologies,

·        Experience with Design Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (D-FMEAs) & Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R), GD&T and all relevant engineering planning and delivery processes,

·        Good knowledge of CATIA and/or NX 3D CAD design software,

·        Ability to understand and improve cross-functional processes in interdisciplinary teams,

·        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,

·        Good communication skills and eager for teamwork,

·        Fluent command in English,

·        Willing to travel abroad with no restriction,

·        Having a valid driver’s licence,

·        Residing in Istanbul Anatolian side or Kocaeli

 JOB DESCRIPTION:

       ·         Leading a team of Sr. / Jr. Engineers and CAD Designers in Automotive Body Structures BIW,

·        Responsible for working with team on complex engineering solutions ensuring quality and meeting the project timeline,

·        Maintaining project management records,

·        Responsible for investigation and design of complex parts in the project.
