Hobi Cosmetis, a Dabur Enterprise International company and one of the leading manufacturers in the cosmetics and personal care industry, is looking for an experiencedHead of Purchasing to join our team at our Head Office in Maltepe, Istanbul.

In this strategic role, you will lead the company's purchasing operations by ensuring the timely, cost-effective, and sustainable procurement of raw materials, packaging materials, and outsourced finished products. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to business growth through effective supplier management, sourcing strategies, and continuous process improvement.

Objective

Objective of this role is to Source multiple categories of Raw & Packaging Materials and finished goods from 3P for Hobby business of Dabur in Turkey. This role is also expected to Support production through timely delivery, drive cost saving projects, Lead the procurement team, meet sustainability objectives of the organisation, have deep understanding of commodity items like surfactants, Plastic resins, Paper, polymers etc and keep management updated on KPIs of purchase.

Key Activities

Key activities to be carried out are as detailed below. This is indicative and not exhaustive.

• Lead a team of 3-4 members and drive procurement KPI with them
• Ensure Timely supply of materials as per demand
• Identify & Drive Cost saving projects inclusive of Direct materials and 3P
• Benchmark with Industry and deliver mark to market savings as well as structural savings
• Identify opportunity thru internal benchmarking and horizontal deployment of savings ideas
• Deliver NPD withing time and cost targets
• Identify and Drive Automation projects to increase efficiency
• Work on sustainability projects to meet organisational goals
• Communicate with multiple stakeholders including senior management in a structured manner and update
• Make budget for materials for Turkey production and deliver as per agreed budget
• Develop Vendor Relationships and structured vendor management
• Motivate team and develop skills of team and self
• 
  

Technical Skills Required

• Understanding of chemicals / packaging materials / vendor base in Turkey
• Excellent with MS Office tools (Excel, PPT)
• Hands-on with SAP, Hana S4
