International Sourcing & Procurement Executive

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced International Sourcing & Procurement Executive to strengthen our global sourcing capabilities and manage strategic supplier relationships across international markets.

The position will play a key role in developing competitive sourcing alternatives, improving purchasing conditions, monitoring global market dynamics, and ensuring the continuity and efficiency of supply.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in international procurement and trade, particularly within chemicals, industrial raw materials, minerals, fertilizers or related B2B industries.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in international procurement, sourcing, import/export or international trade.
• Experience in chemicals, industrial minerals, fertilizers, raw materials or related industrial sectors is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with industries such as chemicals, glass, ceramics, mining, agriculture, food ingredients, animal nutrition or similar markets will be an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree from a relevant discipline; Chemical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering or related technical fields are preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in supplier sourcing, commercial negotiations and contract management.
• Strong knowledge of international purchasing processes, import procedures and commercial terms.
• Ability to evaluate supplier proposals, pricing models, market conditions and alternative sourcing opportunities.
• Experience in cost analysis, budgeting and purchasing-related financial evaluation.
• Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Analytical mindset with strong planning, prioritization and decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to develop and maintain sustainable relationships with international suppliers.
• Proficiency in MS Office and experience with ERP/procurement systems.
• Advanced command of English is required.
• Knowledge of French and/or Arabic will be considered an advantage.
• Availability for domestic and international travel.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage international sourcing and procurement activities for assigned product and raw-material categories.
• Identify and develop new suppliers and alternative sourcing channels in international markets.
• Manage commercial negotiations covering price, payment terms, delivery conditions and other contractual terms.
• Continuously evaluate purchasing conditions and identify opportunities to improve cost competitiveness.
• Monitor commodity, raw-material, freight and supplier-market developments that may affect purchasing decisions.
• Conduct supplier comparisons, cost analyses, benchmarking and sourcing scenarios to support commercial decisions.
• Maintain and develop strategic relationships with existing and potential suppliers.
• Evaluate supply risks and develop alternative sourcing solutions where necessary.
• Coordinate purchasing quantities, lead times and delivery plans in line with commercial and operational requirements.
• Support demand and purchasing forecasts together with relevant internal teams.
• Work closely with Sales, Operations and other stakeholders to ensure that sourcing activities support business priorities.
• Monitor supplier performance in terms of pricing, service level, delivery reliability and commercial conditions.
• Contribute to purchasing budgets, forecasts and periodic management reporting.
• Follow international trade practices and developments relevant to the company’s purchasing activities.
