Huawei Turkey Research and Development Center (R&D) Wireless department is working on LTE and 5G related software development and innovation projects.

Brief Job Description

Overall responsible for the technical management of the software project.

• Reports to PM (business) and system department leader (resource line).

Requirements

• Define software requirements, ensure all allocated requirements are translated into software requirements and ensure stability of the requirements and the technical content.
• Responsible for DFx requirements analysis and design of the software.
• Prepare software design documents (DS) and contribute to evolve alternative design strategies.
• Lead technical design reviews, code review and test plans.
• Support development team to implement key components. Resolve technical issues and dependencies within the project.
• Review technical documents of dependent teams.
• Conduct proof of concept tests for key pieces of the architecture.
• To define standards and guidelines for design, coding and testing.
• Study emerging technology areas as required by the project/technical area. Contribution to patents and white papers.
• Review the test strategies and plans to ensure adequacy of validation.
• Review the software deliverables to verify suitability in the deployed environment.
• Timely resolution of key critical customer issues.
• Responsible for information security compliance for self.
• Responsible for system engineering activities for a specific version; responsible for quality of all technical deliverables.
• Analyzing the customer requirements.
• Anticipating life cycle challenges to the product (e.g. manufacturing, servicing, maintenance, reliability, upgrade, repair, return, reuse, recycle, refurbish, etc.) and developing requirements to deal with these challenges.
• Responsible for making all execution environments available on time development team for that version
• He/she is the leader of that version CCB and arranges CCB periodically to ensure all CCB issues are closed timely.
• Monitoring and managing changes to requirements, specifications and configurations.
• Monitoring the design, development, and testing of product.
• Specifying the configurations for incremental build and test.
• Determining required acquisition, business partner or development activities.
• Defining product or technology dependencies.
• Ensuring that the product meets stated requirements and specifications.
• Review and approve the different reports like UT, IT, ST reports, PC-Lint reports, SDV report.
• Maintain the version Spec list and limitation list and responsible for getting both of them approved by the customers before the nearest TR point.
• Carryout the activities assigned as per the monthly plan.
• Participate in work product reviews and technical audits conducted by the system department.
