WHO ARE YOU? 

Global sportswear retail company is looking for an "Accounting Manager"


Key Responsibilities

Prepares balance sheet and income statement

Prepares monthly reporting ( Local GAAP & IFRS )

Follows month-end transactions, posting accruals and provision based on local GAAP and IFRS, evaluates, prepares fixed asset amortization reports.

Manage the day-to-day accounting functions through well-reconciled general ledger, sub-ledgers (AP, Fixed Assets, Inventory),

Establishment and control of inventory and COGS process

Provides support to ad-hoc general accounting processes and prepares reports requested by other departments for the company.

Controls and handles bookkeeping of store’s all income and expense transactions. Closes store’s accounts at month-end and solves related problems.

Prepares reports requested by government bodies and financial adviser, carries out necessary correspondence and applications.

Responsible from the audit process, main contact with financial advisor

Take active role in preparation of VAT, Withholding, temporary tax and other required statements

Manages VAT refund process

Streamlining processes, setting solid standards, increasing efficiency in accounting and reporting and improving productivity

Digitalizing and automating accounting and reporting processes

 

?QUALIFICATIONS

Degree in Business Administration, Finance from reputable universities.

Minimum of 5 years managerial experience in Accounting and Finance, total 10+ years experience,

Inventory management and COGS expertise is must

Retail background is an asset

Nebim V3 experience is an asset

Strong collaboration and communication skills,

Solid accounting knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP

Import & Export knowledge is an asset

Fluent in English

Tax or Audit background from Big Four is a plus.

SMMM degree is an asset
