Hyosung Istanbul Textile is part of Hyosung Group, a South Korea-based global company established in 1966. Today, Hyosung operates through production facilities and sales offices across the world.

Hyosung provides products and solutions in various industries, including elastane yarn, nylon, polyester, polypropylene, TPA, carbon and aramid fibers, steel and tire cord, industrial yarns, and optical films used in seat belts and airbags.

As part of our business growth and sales team expansion in Türkiye, we are looking for a“Yarn Sales Expert” who will be responsible for Nylon and Polyester yarn products.

The primary work location is our Maslak/Istanbul office.Bursa may also be considered depending on the candidate’s qualifications and experience.

General Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, International Trade, Business Administration, Chemical Engineering, or a related field,
• Minimum 3 years of experience in synthetic yarn sales, textile raw material trading, or a related field,
• Experience in Nylon and/or Polyester yarn sales is strongly preferred,
• Good command of written and spoken English,
• Knowledge of international trade operations, import procedures, customs processes, Incoterms, and international payment terms,
• Basic technical knowledge of synthetic yarn products, including DTY, FDY, POY, denier, and filament specifications,
• Existing business network with textile mills, knitting companies, weaving companies, or textile manufacturers is preferred,
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and customer relationship management skills,
• Customer-oriented, analytical, and solution-focused working approach,
• Able to work independently while maintaining effective cooperation with local and global teams,
• Proficient in MS Office applications; SAP or ERP experience is preferred,
• Has a valid driving licence and actively drives,
• Able to travel within Türkiye when required.

Job Description

• Conduct domestic sales and business development activities for Nylon, Polyester, and other synthetic yarn products manufactured by Hyosung’s global production facilities,
• Develop and expand sales of Nylon and Polyester yarns to textile mills, knitting companies, weaving companies, and other potential customers in Türkiye,
• Manage the existing customer portfolio and identify new business and customer opportunities,
• Coordinate back-to-back trading operations between overseas production facilities and domestic customers,
• Manage the sales process from customer inquiry and quotation to order confirmation, delivery, and payment follow-up,
• Monitor raw material prices, freight costs, competitor activities, and market developments,
• Conduct market and competitor analyses and develop sales strategies to achieve business targets,
• Coordinate with overseas factories, logistics companies, customs brokers, finance teams, and other relevant departments,
• Follow import, shipment, delivery, order tracking, and customer claim processes,
• Visit customers regularly and maintain strong, long-term business relationships,
• Participate in relevant domestic and international textile fairs and industry events,
• Prepare periodic sales, market, and customer reports and present them to management.
