Position: International Trucking Operations Specialist
Location: Kozyatağı, İstanbul

Role Summary:
This role is a specialist level in Global Forwarding team under Logistics Department.

QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Description:

• Coordinate and manage road freight shipments from Europe to Türkiye from order receipt to final delivery.
• Follow up on transport orders, bookings, and loading schedules with trucking companies.
• Perform daily truck tracing and provide regular status updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain and update shared Excel tracking files accurately and on time.
• Liaise with customers, carriers, and internal departments to ensure smooth operational flow.
• Proactively identify delays or issues and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure all operational data and documentation are accurate and properly recorded.
• Maintain Glovis Türkiye service quality standards and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in related fields
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience handling road freight (FTL) operations within a freight forwarding company is required.
• Proven experience in EU–Türkiye trucking operations, including order management and daily shipment follow-up.
• Strong commitment to excellent customer service, with effective communication and follow-up skills.
• Ability to coordinate with trucking companies, customers, and internal teams efficiently.
• Experience with order management, daily tracing, and status reporting is essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; experience with shared operational tracking files is required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, international trade, or business is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage exceptions and delays proactively.
• Able or willing to work in İstanbul, preferably Anatolian side.
