Design Engineer

We are looking for a “Design Engineer” with the following qualifications to be employed for the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant Project in Mersin.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.

* Experience in large-scale industrial facility projects is preferred.

* Minimum 4 years of experience in steel structure detailing, fabrication, or manufacturing.

* Knowledge of welding processes and welding standards is preferred.

* Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

* Advanced proficiency in Tekla Structures, AutoCAD, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and Microsoft Office applications.

Job Responsibilities:

* Prepare detailed shop drawings for steel structures of the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) in strict accordance with approved design documentation and project specifications.

* Develop general arrangement drawings, assembly drawings, connection details, bills of materials (BOM), and bills of elements.

* Review and address comments received on shop drawings, ensuring timely revisions and updates.

* Coordinate with engineering, production, and project teams to ensure drawing accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

* Prepare and organize documentation required for fabrication and production activities.

* Ensure all drawings and related documents comply with applicable standards, codes, and project procedures.
