Ihsan Okulları School delivers an international curriculum using high level teaching, assessment and behavior management strategies in a stimulating and safe learning environment to ensure all children can access learning. 

Our school is hiring for the 2022-2023 Academic year in our Atakent campus. We are looking for an enthusiastic English Teacher with excellent subject knowledge and passion to face challenges and inspire our students to truly understand the beauty and depth of the English language.

You will be instrumental in our mission to provide every student a great education and real choices in life, regardless of their background. A passionate practitioner, you will deliver high-quality, rigorous lessons that drive achievement and inspire a love of learning that extends beyond the classroom.

You must demonstrate excellent communication skills and possess the ability to settle quickly into dynamic classroom environments. You will be working alongside a great team of teachers and admin staff who will support you when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

*Master's or Bachelor’s degree in English Language or English Literature

*Teaching Certification 

*Minimum 5 years of relevant experience 

*Appropriate for MEB assignment requirements

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

*Native English speaker

*Technology literate i.e. can use educational technologies to deliver curriculum creatively face to face or online

*Equipped to deliver and develop curriculum and programs

*Excellent interpersonal and classroom management skills

*National or international exams preparation (AP, SAT, IB) experience is a plus

*Ability to work with a diverse students' body and faculty

*Open to work around new cultures and ideas, positive thinker, team player

TEACHING COMPETENCIES:

*Able to bring your subject alive in the classroom, motivating your classes, especially through modern research techniques in English language teaching

*Provide sufficient challenge to your students, to ensure they excel in their learning

*Engage with students and foster positive relationships

*Have a commitment to creating a productive educational experience for students.

*Have a proven history of improving students’ performance

*Possess strong class management skills

*Be flexible, enthusiastic and have a willingness to learn from others

*Have the ability to establish and maintain good working relationships in a multi-ethnic, multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary environment
