Export Operations Specialist

We are looking for an Export Operations Specialist to join our company, which operates in the field of international iron and steel trading. The ideal candidate will have experience in export operations and international transportation.

Responsibilities

Organizing vehicles and transportation arrangements for international shipments,

Negotiating freight rates and transportation terms with logistics companies and drivers,

Coordinating shipments between the factory, warehouse, carriers, and customers,

Monitoring loading and delivery processes,

Preparing export documentation, including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, and other relevant documents,

Coordinating with customs brokers and following up on customs clearance procedures,

Managing the entire export operation process from order placement through delivery,

Resolving operational issues quickly and effectively,

Preparing operational reports and ensuring accurate and timely follow-up.

Requirements

Proven experience in export operations and international transportation,

Strong knowledge of road transportation,

Experience with container shipments and bulk vessel loading operations,

Strong negotiation skills with transportation and logistics companies,

Good knowledge of export documentation and customs clearance procedures,

Strong planning, follow-up, and organizational skills,

Proficiency in MS Office applications,

Strong communication and interpersonal skills,

Solution-oriented mindset and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
